We are located in Kentucky, not far from the famous “Churchill Downs” on a beautiful rolling farm in Oldham County. We have in our breeding program some of the most sought after German and Eastern Europeon bloodlines. Some of the lineage of Jenneck’s Uno, Von Valas Atretes, Konnelstloltz Endo, Black Turk Euro, Axel Black Pearl of Panovic.
The name of “Algutshof Kennels” will continue to be used in memory of Linda’s late husband, Michael Allgood. Michael had a vast knowledge of training, showing and breeding dogs and will be remembered by his family and friends with love and respect for a man who brought a lot to the canine community.
We are a small kennel located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been involved with the breed since 1998. The philosophy being our breeding program is to improve the overall characteristics of the Rottweiler. We follow the FCI Rottweiler breed standard used by the ADRK in Germany (The German Rottweiler Club).Our Rottweilers are owned and bred by us.
I have loved dogs since childhood, probably a love reinforced by a book of dog stories which I thought was the greatest gift I had ever received. I grew up on a farm and my siblings and I each had our own dog. Dad loved hunting, so we each had our own Beagle.
Hannah finished her Championship at 15 months and has gone on to work in the obedience and herding rings. She is as loving as she is pretty, and is a very special gift in our lives. She is currently working with Kurt, the son of a dear friend, and will be his 4-H obedience dog this year.

We are so proud of our Junior Handler, Korbin, for his recognition in The Total Rottweiler Magazine! It was a rough year for him last year with a total of 6 surgeries :/ But my tough little cookie always perseveres with that beautiful smile of his that lights up every room he walks into. His patience and love shows through so clearly in his work with our Rotties too. Great Job Korbi-Bear <3
